No. The color contrast requirements are identical across WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2. All three versions require: AA — 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text. AAA — 7:1 for normal text, 4.5:1 for large text. The relative luminance formula used to calculate the ratio is also unchanged across all versions.
WCAG 2.1 added new criteria for mobile accessibility and cognitive disabilities but did not change the contrast thresholds. WCAG 2.2 added criteria around focus indicators and target sizes without touching contrast requirements. A contrast checker built for WCAG 2.0 is equally valid for 2.1 and 2.2.

Which WCAG Version Does Your Website Need?
Most regulations specify WCAG 2.1 Level AA — including ADA enforcement in the US and the European Accessibility Act. WCAG 2.2 is the current version but most regulations have not yet updated their references to specify it.
Since contrast requirements are identical across all versions, meeting WCAG 2.0 AA for contrast automatically satisfies WCAG 2.1 AA and 2.2 AA. The only reason to specify the version when testing contrast is for documentation and audit reporting purposes.
